Tommaso Federico Demarie is a physicist with over 7 years experience in the field of quantum computing. He holds a PhD in Quantum Information and Computation from Macquarie University in Australia, and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Physics from the University of Turin in Italy. He is a co-author of 10 research publications on quantum physics, including quantum gravity, quantum relativistic information, and cloud quantum computation. In January 2018, Tommaso left Academia to join the third cohort of Entrepreneur First in Singapore: There, together with Ewan Munro he co-founded Entropica Labs, a startup whose mission is to build software applications to understand the genome using quantum computing.
